Obituary for Stanley Nichols

Stanley Nichols, 88, husband of Ruth Ann Frakes Nichols, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
A native of Ruddles Mill, KY, he was the son of the late Edward Nichols and Ella Bell Livingood Nichols. He was a licensed Optician in Paris and Lexington for 46 years, an avid golfer and loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. He was also a member of Central Baptist Church of Paris, serving as deacon and Sunday school teacher.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Kimberly Anne (Dr. Perry) Wornall and Gregory Stan Nichols; one brother, Fred (Sue) Nichols; two sisters, JoAnn Gray and Elizabeth Brooks and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Nichols and Donald Nichols and three sisters, Lucille Fletcher, Mildred Lovell and Geneva Schanding.
There will be a private graveside service.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
