Obituary for Millard Ray Lizer

Millard Ray Lizer, 83, widower of the late Helen Carol Frakes Lizer, died Sunday August 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Cynthiana, KY to the late Harvey Lee Lizer and Mary Kerns Shaw. He was a retired building contractor, a member of the City Club of Paris and a veteran of the Unites States Army.
Survivors include, two sons, Tim (Carol) Lizer and Jeff Lizer; five grandchildren, Brandon Lizer, Austin ( Sarah) Lizer, Jeffrey Hendrix, Blake Lizer and Jonathan Hendrix; four great grandchildren, Jonas Hendrix, Raegan Lizer, Ethan Hurst and Waylon Lizer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Bennie Lizer and two sisters, Mary Ann Lizer and Virgie Bargo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday August 25, 2017 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Ernesto Martinez. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7PM Thursday August 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Lizer, Austin Lizer, Blake Lizer, Gary Lowe, Jeff Hendrix and Kyle Boling.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the City Club of Paris.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
