Obituary for Floyd Townsend

Floyd Townsend, 80, husband of Patricia Smith Townsend for 48 years, died Sunday October 29, 2017 at his home.
A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late William Edward and Lucy Ann Hatton Townsend. He was a retired auto body worker for Quantrell Cadillac, Lexington, KY.
In addition to his wife he is survived three children, Clinton (Stephanie) Townsend, Cynthia (Jeremy) Harp and Belle Johnson; three grandchildren, Cory Townsend, Dillan Biddle and Courtney Townsend; one great grandchild, Lilah Brumback and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert Townsend and Russell Vernon Townsend and two sisters, Pearl Smith and Eula Jones.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday Nov. 2, 2017 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Vernon Adams. Burial will be in the Clintonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday Nov. 2, 2017 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Smith, Jeremy Barnett, Jeff Hollon, Danny Biddle, Kevin Adams and Marcus Barnett.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
